WINTER PARK, COLORADO

ELEVATION 9239 FEET Winter Park is the panoramic gateway to the Fraser River Valley.  The Valley's population of 1,400 full time residents increases tremendously during the winter and summer seasons.

This area is currently experiencing a very high rate of controlled growth lead by the expansion of the Winter Park Resort.  A massive development of the ski area has lead to the development of luxury homes and commercial projects, many of which are now under construction.

Leaving Denver by car and traveling on the scenic highways can be enjoyable, but taking the luxury Ski Train offers even better views.  It has the largest capacity of any passenger train scheduled in the United States and is over one-quarter mile long.   The train stops 100 yards from the base of the ski lifts of Winter Park.
