All publishers complain, and the dorf is no exception.   "We're supposed to be buying and selling real estate for our customers," he shouts. "Sherlock and Doctor Watson will take up a megabyte before you're through!   The pictures alone will eat me out of house and office.  And why are we going to start covering other parts of the world - isn't San Diego enough?"
Megabytes, schmegabytes, I don't know what he's talking about, but I try to explain that a lot of people need a lot of information before they make a decision to buy or sell.  I also tell him that we're also doing business out of the San Diego area and that we're getting inquiries from all over the world.  He, himself, gets excited when he gets email from places like Czechoslovakia and the Far East.

Anyway, while he suffers, we'll try to do our best to accommodate those of you who would like to get a little more info (And maybe a few smiles) in the tiresome search to find or market property or businesses.
This week's feature community is Carlsbad and I've chronicled an adventure of the House Detective in that city.  Doctor Watson gave me the story.
Even Allan has made a contribution to this issue.  He tells us about Denmark and the fourth of July.
The Schools Page is complete thanks to Lynne Swartz.  Click Information in the home page index to get  to the info index.
Please email your requests for information, critiques, and any contributions or announcements you'd like to make here.
Sherlock HOMES has asked me to remind you to join the International Internet Irregulars and to please report any sightings of the evil Professor Moriarty.
Oh, yes - the dorf would like you to check out our listings and the Have-Wants-Trading Page.  He says "We need more listings!  We have the technology!   We have gigabytes!" Whatever that means.

A few things came to mind as we glanced over the drafts of this issue's pages.  The Fourth of July,  the Village of Carlsbad and the Danes that are developing the Legoland theme park in that city.  Back in the early sixties I visited Denmark during America's Independence Day and was pleasantly surprised  to see American flags flying all over the place.  There were signs cheering the U.S. and Americans in hotels, restaurants and just about every public place.  I felt at home in Tivoli Gardens where Americans were greeted  and treated royally, American music was played, and fireworks filled the skies like at home.   I can assure you it wasn't a commercial thing.  (For once, take the word of a pretty commercial guy.)  The Danes just love liberty and respect America for it.  Check out their history and see how they stood up to the nazis during the Second World War. Ya just got'ta admire those guys.
