Ensenada is the productive and multi-faceted port of  Bahia de Todos Santos.  It is now undergoing a multi- billion dollar redevelopment and expansion program that includes  marinas, golf courses, commercial and residential development, convention center, hotels,  cruise lines facilities, sportfishing and other amenities.  As one of Mexico's busiest ports, it offers a blend of  recreational and commercial fishing, tourist attractions, and industry. Over 75 sporting, cultural, and gastronomical events are featured in and around the city every year.

Ensenada can be reached by car or bus along the scenic, first class toll highway from Tijuana,  by scheduled airline,   or on board one of the luxury cruise ships which make the city a regular port of call.

  . La Bufadora, one of the largest ocean blowholes in
    the world, is a few miles south of the city.
  . International conventions and meetings take place
    at  Ensenada's world class Riviera del Pacifico
   Cultural & Civic Center. 
  .There are many nearby campsites for mountain
        climbing,  beachcombing,  and hiking activities.       
  .The pristine pine forests of the Constitution of  1857 
    National Park are close by.
  .The famous Rock gardens and rupestrian paintings
    of Cataviña are features of this area.
  .Valle de Guadalupe is noted for its vast  vineyards
    which are the source of the best Mexican  wines.
  .The annual winter
gray whale migration is a famous
    site in Ensenada's bay.
  .The area around Lázaro Cárdenas and Lopez Mateos
    is prime tourist zone and is famous for its shopping,
    cantinas, and restaurants.
  .Ensenada is host to international events like the
    famous Baja 1000 Off-Road Race,  the Newport -
    Ensenada  Regatta
, and the Rosarito - Ensenada Bike
    Ride.
