Les Sous-Bois du Massif

DESCRIPTION OF SITES

    This offering is comprised of six sites in the County of Charlevoix, Province of Quebec, Canada.
     Five of the sites are within the City of Petite-Riviere Saint-Francois-Xavier and one is located in the nearby City of Baie-Saint Paul.

     Petite-Riviere Saint-Francois is less than 50 minutes from Quebec City by way of Highway 138.  All of the sites either abut or have access to that major artery through secondary roads.  Petite-Riviere is forty minutes south of the famous casino resort city of Malbaie.
    
Le Massif de Petite-Riviere Saint-Francois, an international caliber ski resort within the city, was one of the four final sites selected by the Olympic Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympics.  Although it lost out to Salt Lake City, Le Massif   has an excellent chance to be chosen in the future.
The highest peak east of the Rocky Mountains (770 meters) stands on Le Massif de Petite-Riviere Saint-Francois.
